For the driver the comfort level in the forklift truck, wherein
he/she performs the daily job, is of great importance. It is also very important
for the owner/employer as a relaxed driver realises a high level of
productivity, even during activities in the open air. Adverse weather
situations, such as cold, wind, rain and even heat makes the job not
easier.
The new Nissan GX Series is often operated under circumstances such
as outside areas, harbours and wood logging industry. That's why the GX Series
deluxe cabin has been designed with the operator as central point of focus. The
cabin enables operations to be highly comfortable throughout all weather
conditions. The big, wide door provides easy access to the spacious cabin. The
low and wide step makes it even simpler.
When seated the GX Series cabin offers its operators a generous
working environment. The driver is surrounded by wide glass doors and a
panoramic front windscreen to protect him or her from various weather
influences. The curved window provides an excellent view when lifting loads to
higher levels.
The optional deluxe seat makes life even more comfortable. It is
adjustable too the seating position of the driver in many ways. Additionally,
the very low noise levels inside the cab further enhance the operators? working
environment and minimise physical fatigue during the most demanding
shift.
The rear window can be fixed in two positions so that fresh air can
enter the cabin at all times. Next to it, the optional air conditioning and
heater can manage the temperatures within the cabin to suit all types of
weather. Warm or cold air can enter the cabin through the openings which are
located at the top right-hand and top left-hand positions. Six easy adjustable
openings can be directed at the driver or at the windows for eventual
defogging.
The GX Series deluxe cabin offers space to install a radio/CD
player and speakers for the highest possible relaxation to get through the tough
job to be performed.
Furthermore a number of extra features are present in the cabin,
such as reading light, panoramic mirror and an optional roll-up
sunscreen.
The cabin is available with single doors or with double hinged
doors. The door has a sliding window for easy and rapid communication. The doors
have been designed as such that, when opened, ample space is available to
perform maintenance activities. Together with simple and spacious access to the
engine compartment down time is reduced to the absolute minimum. This keeps cost
down and brings productivity up.
